		The process of commissioning a painting is simple: First we have a meeting via phone, email or in person to conceptualize your proposed work. During this you present your favorite photographs of specific people, pets, objects or landscapes, etc. to be included. I give you an estimate of the cost at this time. Then I create a concept sketch of the proposed work for your approval. I present this to you via email or in person. On acceptance a final price is set and a 50% deposit is paid for your commissioned work to commence. Reports with jpg computer images are sent to you via email as the work progresses towards completion. The balance of payment is due on completion of your final painting. Your Linda Mears custom original painting is then shipped directly to you, or you may pick it up at my studio in Pacoima, CA. To get your special commission under way, contact me today!
